Heather offers violin, viola, and piano lessons for students of all ages, standards, and musical backgrounds. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to music after a break, or an advanced player looking to refine your skills, lessons are tailored to suit your individual goals and interests.
With over ten years of teaching experience, Heather aims to create a supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment for every student. Lessons are accessible and flexible, whether you would like to work towards ABRSM exams, need extra support with school music exams and coursework, or simply want to learn for fun and personal enjoyment.
Teaching focuses on building strong technique, musical confidence, creativity, and a genuine enjoyment of music. Students can explore a wide range of styles and repertoire, with lessons adapted to different learning styles and abilities.
